Staff Credentials
I have been licensed since September 1996. I enjoy working with children and decided to start my own
home-based day care. I am the mother of three children and the oldest of six. I have served on the board of the Will
County Child Care Association, worked with Girl Scouting for over six years and am affiliated with Child Care Resource and
Referral.
I have a bachelors degree in Business. I have taken some child development classes and continually
attend conferences and seminars on child care.
I have two teen age children, a 16 year old girl and a 12 year old boy, who often help out after
school. They are very good with the children and have grown up in my day care. I also have a daughter in college,
who visits us from time to time.
My husband can also be found with the children. He works nights and is home during the day.
He is generally found playing with the kids in the morning and loves to give out morning snack.
Staff Training
DCFS requires 12 hours of training per year. I have met and exceeded those hours each year, since
I have been in business.
I am current in my CPR and First Aid training and renew this each year.
